play if I want to........and boy did she ever! Good day, Good friends, Good times......Birthday party was a success!

We went with a cupcake theme.....

Showered with so many awesome gifts, what great friends we have!

 

And what a great big brother, he took time to play with Katelin and her new toys!

While the cupcake theme was for Katelin, we were celebrating one more birthday.....

The Birthday buddies, Katelin is 5-05 and Matthew is 5-08!

And the answer is......

Rotten kid!!!!

You may remember a few days ago I posed the question of why would I have to restock all the kids' bathroom essentials???? Coincidence, great deal or rotten kid????

Well everyone who pondered a guess, chose rotten child and that is correct! Nobody pointed the finger at Rylie or Owen.....which is good because they know much better and would have been in big trouble. Evan got the most votes....so.............

He is not the culprit!

This rotten little princess is! 

She might just grow up to be a chemist.....she wants to play with lotion, soaps, water, anything liquad and in the bath one day she emptied out everything except the toothpaste.....that she had squeezed into the sink of her play kitchen a few days prior to the bathtub incident and mixed it with chocolate milk....nice huh????

I might just have to keep the bathroom door locked and make her get a bathroom pass so I can keep tabs on her......

This girl I tell ya.....I just love her to pieces but man does she wear me out!!!!

Happy Birthday Katelin May 5 2012

So I had every intention to share a birthday post to my sweet girl on her 4th birthday......but life was busy and I did not get that done. However, we did have a little celebration on her birthday, of course!

I had been asking her what she wanted for her birthday and what she told me was......the baby doll that swims, the baby doll who's hair you can cut, diapers (for her dolls) and the big one.....the white puppy who has a leash and you push a button and it walks.....she really really wanted this, she could even sing the commercial!


Waiting.....is so hard!


My beautiful girl ready to open gifts (which are from us and grammy....didn't see a point in picking what gift was from who!)

The bike was a hit!

She said...."Oh, I know what this is." Well how do you know Katelin?
She says, "The box was barking!".....okay that might give it away!!!!

She got everything she asked for except the hair cutting baby (not sure that even exist).

A little cake for her special day!

 

We usually go out for dinner on the kids' birthdays but we had lots going on (still working on refinishing cabinets) and when asked where she wanted to go she said Taco Bell! We did oblige her craving for taco bell the night before but we just made a simple dinner on her bday with her favorite....cole slaw....weird, I know!!!!

It's hard to believe my sweet girl is already 4......there are now words for how much I love my princess or how much laughter and love she has brought to our lives! Or how often we say...."Oh Katelin.....Why????" She is a feisty, persistant, stubborn, crazy little thing.....who most certainly keeps us on our toes!!!!!

We Love You KK......more than you will ever know!

We had her party the following weekend, it was a great day and I have lots of pics to share real soon!

Coincidence, Great Deal or Rotten Kid??????

So not to long ago......I went to the store and bought all of the items you see in this picture! Now why in the world would someone have to buy their kiddos body wash, shampoo, conditioner, baby wash and toothpaste all at one time????


Could it just be a strange conincidence that the kids ran out of all of these items at the same time???

or

could it be I stumbled upon an incredible sale and just had to buy it all at the amazing price that was in front of me???

or

could it just happen to be that one of my sweet children got a rotten streak and did something to cause me to have to restock all of their bathroom essentials???

And if that is the case, which one of these rotten children do you think would be the culprit???
And what exactly do you think they could have done???

Teacher appreciation week.....cups filled with pencils, 2 highlighters, 2 dry erase markers and $20 to spend on supplies at walmart. Also found adorable Dr. Suess thank you cards (very appropriate for teachers I thought).
