Kinley Ryann 9 months

Once again I am behind on posting this because this little beauty of mine hit the 9 month mark on the first of the month! But (not mentioning any names) a certain 5 year old dropped my computer off of a top bunk and it broke and I haven't put photoshop on our new one yet so her 9 month pics are unedited but even unedited her beauty shines through!

This little girl is growing up way to fast......

at 9 months she weighs 20lbs 3oz (75%-90%) and is 29 inches (90%-95%)

She doesn't just crawl but she crawls fast.....

she is pulling herself up on things and just starting to walk along them.....

she will stand without holding onto anything until she realizes she isn't holding onto anything!

She is babbling more and more and loves to wave. At first we thought is was just a fluke but everytime she waves she says "Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"......i'm pretty darn sure she is trying to say Hi, so we are officially going with that as her first word!

She also loves to play peek a boo!

She is a mama's girl, never too far away from me but she gets super excited when daddy comes home and she still loves her big sis Rylie, often crying when Rylie gives her back to me.

We are done with baby food, she loves table food so much more. Carrots are her favorite right now but she loves green beans and mashed potatos.  She can wear 9 month or 12 month clothes and is in size 3 diaper still.  I have to sneak bows on her head or she rips them right off.

Her little personality is really starting to shine through and boy do we love our little monkey. Which has become her nickname along with Kinbear and Kin Kin!!!!!!

Go Owen!!!!

I am so proud of this kid, another great year of baseball for Owen!

It started out a little rough, he was hitting here and there and getting some scores but not a lot. So.....

Daddy took him to buy a new bat and glove and we tried to practice when we could.....

and what a difference, he was hitting almost everytime he was up to bat!

I love watching him play, it is my favorite sport to watch.

And while my main concern with any sport is good sportsmanship.....

it was kind of cool that they were undefeated!!!!

And while we were watching and Owen was playing, what were the other kids doing????

Evan was just doing his own thing....eating, playing, running, crying....just doing his thing!

When Rylie joined us she would help with Kinley!

When she didn't join us, Kinley was all ours!

And Katelin loves going to Owen's games because she would get to play with her friend Kyla!

It was a great season, can't wait until next year but until then we will have basketball and football to look forward too!!!!

Movie time!

So earlier today we went to the movies, Kinley stayed with Grammy and Haylie and Xander joined us.

What did we go see......

and we saw it in 3D! It was good but I prefer the first one!

What did we learn on this little outing......

Evan and Xander are NOT quite ready to go to the movies.....
overall they did okay but Xander was more worried about snacks and drinks so he kept talking asking for more......
and Evan just isn't ready to sit still and be quiet for 2 solid hours (Chet missed the last 20 minutes because him and Evan had to step out). Evan also wanted nothing to do with wearing the 3D glasses.

We also learned to always expect the unexpected.......in middle of the movie, Katelin says, "my nose is bleeding"......so we head to the bathroom and it sure was. Blood all over her hands, running down her face and all over her mouth. She has never had a bloody nose before....weird! So I cleaned her up and we joined them back in the theatre.

Owen was absolutely perfect, didn't hear a peep from him the entire movie!

And the big girls.....well they chose to not sit with us, they are just too cool for us I guess!!!!

Xander was still rocking the glasses when we got home....goofball!

We spent $60 on tickets, went to the gas station to stock up on candy to sneak in but still spent an additional $30 on drinks and popcorn.

I honestly think it is more enjoyable to watch from the comfort of our own home and I know it is much cheaper (even when we keep the redbox movie a few extra days after watching it).

But we will go again (the theatre experience is fun)..... we will probably leave the little boys home though or maybe one of these days Chet and I could sneak off to a movie just the two of us......maybe!

Katelin's Dance Recital!

Katelin did another year of dance this year, I am getting ready to sign her up to start in the fall again and remembered I hadn't yet posted her recital pics.

Last year, if you remember, she would not do the recital. Last minute she got overwhelmed and wouldn't go. It was crazy so I don't blame her. This year it was at the high school instead of on KU's campus and it was more organized and less crazy and she did GREAT!

The day before we had to get in full get up for the dress rehersal.....

gotta love the photo bomber.....

While Katelin was in the back for rehersal I spent like 4 long hours with the boys and Kinley in the high school cafeteria. They did pretty good, loved when Owen helped Evan with his puzzle.

The recital went good, the boys went to Aunt Natty's so we just had Kinley with us and she did pretty good.

Katelin was the prancin' poodles so we got her flowers and a little poodle.

I'm soooo proud of her.....she did AWESOME!!!!!

and she loved her poodle as soon as we got home she made her a house!

So were looking forward to another year of tap, ballet and gymnastics!
