A trip to the zoo..........

with my crew and the Johnson family too!

About 2 weeks before school we headed to the zoo.....me and my littles and Mandy and her littles!

It was this ones first trip to the zoo....I love her giraffe shirt!


Katelin wanted a picture up on the rock and then she wanted right back down!

Usually Rylie happily lets me take her picture but she wasn't enjoying the heat and this was one of the only picture she let me take.

Here we are watching the polar bear.....very cool!


This is how Kinley started out.....what a rough life.

The kids thought this snake was very cool....

Long lost brothers?!?!?!?

She wants one as a pet!!!!

And see the little guy in the window....he takes his job very seriously because.....

while they were all sleeping.....

he was very dutifully keeping watch for predators (and with all the crazy kids running around I don't blame him), in all seriousness they are very cool animals!

On the carousel, he was scared at first but once it got going as long as I was holding on to him he was fine!

My girl, can you tell she'd been crying? More on that in a minute.

Rylie and Kin Kin! The boys went where I couldn't see them which made me just a little nervous but I never heard the operator yell at them so they must have been behaving.

He was mad at me and when he is mad he likes to storm off and pout so that's what he did and I let him.....just as long as I could see him.

He did decide to come closer but still pouting!

 

The others were being entertained by the sea lions....some other really cool creatures!

Why such a short trip???? 

 

It was HOT which Rylie didn't  handle well and she just wanted to leave wouldn't even give me one group shot..... 

 

and well 2 of my kids went missing on this trip.......

 

Right before we got to the carousel we were looking at some llamas, we walked just past them to where the carousel was at and were getting the kids ready to get on when I noticed Katelin wasn't by us. I looked back by the llamas and saw her by a building looking around and yelled Katelin....she saw me and her face just scrunched up and she burst into tears and latched onto me like crazy. I felt HORRIBLE, I found her so quickly but I think she was probably looking for me for several minutes and I can't imagine how scared she was, it took her a bit to get calmed down. Then while dealing with that Evan went missing and we didn't find him as quickly so everyone was looking for him and all of a sudden he just happily comes strolling up, not sure where he was but he sure wasn't scared!

 

I'm not too worried about the kids being snatched from the zoo because it is mostly families there, it's not an easy place to snatch a kid and get away easily and the highway isn't right there so it would not be an easy get away however it is a very big place and would be very very scary to be lost there so glad it all ended up okay!

 

So we rode the carousel and Emily fell off the bench when the ride was over and busted her lip open. So after dealing with that Mandy decided she'd be best taking her kiddos home. So we watched the sea lion show and went home too. Not the best trip to the zoo, it was eventful though!!!!!

 

Kinley Ryann 10 months

Yes I know.....she is almost 11 months old and i'm just now posting her 10 month post.....I've been BUSY!

Oh this girl of mine.....I LOVE HER.......SO MUCH!!!!

 

She is a happy happy baby. She likes to be held still so it's a good think I love to hold her.
But the more mobile she gets the happier she is down on the ground playing. 

And mobile she is. She has begun taking steps, as of today she will take 3 maybe 4 steps and then she drops....it won't be long!!!!

She is still in size 3 diaper and 12 month clothes. She still nurses but loves to eat people food....bananas are by far her favorite thing, which is fitting since I call her my little monkey!

And yes she did have a black eye when I took these pics, Captain knocked her down in the kitchen and it bruised up pretty good....she is still beautiful black eye and all.

She has her top two and her bottom two teeth.
She loves to share even her food that she has already got all mushy....sweet but yuck!

And at 10 months old she is already learning how to throw little fits when she doesn't get her way and boy does she know how to work that boo boo lip! She is also babbling more and more, she has the cutest little baby talk, everytime Chet hears her he comments on how cute it is! She has stranger anxiety....big time. Often if a stranger talks to her they get the boo boo lip followed by tears.

I love to look at my little monkey when she sleeps....so sweet, so peaceful....it melts my heart!


She is my little love, my kinbear, my monkey......my sweetheart and she makes my heart happy every second of every day :)

Evan's 3rd Birthday!!!!

That's right.....this crazy kid of mine is 3!



Let me tell you a little about this boy.....he is ONERY but he also has the greatest smile EVER which helps him A LOT, I mean how can you say no to that face???? Trust me I do say No (a lot) but it can be hard sometimes!!!!

Evan is my rambunctious always on the go kid while the others wake up still sleepy and have to get "woke up".....Evan wakes up full of energy and it doesn't run out until bedtime!

He loves to play, loves adventure and is ALL BOY.....loves superheroes (his favorite is bat bat), loves mud trucks or mud mud truck (followed by a deep growl truck sound) as he calls it and loves his big brother O! He also loves his sisters but is pretty good at irritating them too (we tried moving his carseat back by Kinleys but didn't work he has been returned to the very back......again). He loves to make sounds (he gets that from his dad and brother Cheston), loves to help from opening doors for people to helping daddy fix things. He loves loves loves to be outside.

He can ignore you like no other when you talk to him and when he is made mad he sticks his bottom lip out screams and usually runs outside if he can or to his room! And though he doesn't usually stop long enough for too many cuddles when he does they are some of the best cuddles ever!

He pretends he is flying when he wears his capes and swinging on his belly is his favorite way to swing!

We had a mud truck themed party and it was a great day.....

After opening the awesome gifts people brought him we went outside where Katelin drove up in his brand new jeep......and don't call it a truck he will say "it's not a truck, it's a jeep!'.....I guess it really is a jeep thing!

This is from Sunday, he has ridden it until the battery dies everyday!

Of course we had cake, I love his face and his buddy Cooper's face in this pic!

I think he enjoyed it!

He also enjoyed hanging out with his favorite buddies!

Of course no party is complete without a good cry luckily it didn't last long and he was happy again!!!!

It was a great day with great friends celebrating my awesome kid!

Today......

was a big day in our house for many reasons......

First these two kids had their first full day of 6th and 3rd grades! They both seem to like their teachers, I think it will be a good year for them.


And this beautiful girl had her first day of kindergarten! She loved it!

And the kid today is most special too would be my wonderful little Evie.....he turned 3 years old today! Sure love my wild crazy not so little (he is weighing in at 39lbs) boy!!!!

And well this little one, just another normal day for her but didn't want to leave her out!!!!
