Just Because.....

I wanted to share some random pictures.....

This pic is from several months ago but it was a sweet moment with my littlest two.

The kids made a tent, all decked out with pillows inside.....obviously Katelin didn't get her way with something!

Johnny in a Box....again! This time it was the recycling box.

Katelin loves to draw, color, paint....and here were some little pics she drew of the whole family.

Not to often anymore that my sweet girl will take a mid day nap but on this day she did and look how sweet she looks!

We primed and  painted our living room and we had some helpers.

Evan loves to sit with blankets on and one night I gave him his bottle, I went into the living room to get ready to put him to be and this is how I found him.....so sweet.

Of course don't let him fool you because he can be a little devil at times.

Katelin was helping daddy in the shop and wanted him to take some pictures of her.

And this is how she makes snow.....I threw it away when she had forgotten about it because I didn't want "snow" all over my house.

Christmas Card

taking pictures of all 4 kiddos is always a little stressful. It took some time and 2 different days of taking pictures but I finally got the pics I wanted for the xmas card. But before I show you.....let's me show you a few that did not make the cut.........

Evan did not want to sit still.

He did not want to be held either.

He really did not want to be held.

Rylie was hanging in there trying to make him happy.

He finally holds still but he covers his face.

Now he is actually looking at the camera but not Ry....she was trying to get him happy.

And by now Owen is just done and wants it to be over.

Polar Express Night 2011

We had our annual Polar Express Night on Saturday....what does PE night consist of????

Haylie, Dylan and Xander always come over. I have beef stew in the crock pot, the kids decorate gingerbread houses, there is always sweets involved, they get to open their xmas jammies and ornaments from Grammy and we watch Polar Express while the kids drink hot chocolate and eat popcorn.

It is always a fun great night.

The kids started out doing the gingerbread houses.....

they had a good time......

and did a superb job......

the little ones didn't make houses but they played with cars and Evan got to taste the icing.....

They looked absolutely adorable in their jammies.....

and they loved their new ornaments....

 

We had a great night and the funny moment of the night goes to Haylie Grace.....During the movie Chet asked "where's Rudolph?" and Haylie says "Santa only had him there that one foggy night...."! Maybe it's one of those "you had to be there moments" but we sure has a great laugh over it.
