Random Pics!

Have I mentioned that life has been BUSY lately??? Oh, trust me it has......that is why I had a total of 2 blog post the entire month of October....usually I have anywhere from 10 to 20 something! But don't worry I have been preparing post like a crazy person tonight so I will have lots of them coming up in the next week or so!

So this post will consist of lots of pictures that didn't make a particular post but I wanted to share them anyway...........

Baby Emily (Mandy's little girl) and Katelin, she loooooves babies...just like her mama!

I think they look like 2 heads on 1 body in the snuggie!

Evan looooves his Daddy and he loooooves his Daddy's truck!

Multi tasker.....drawing, basketball and ballet!

My book worm, she loves to read. Her favorite books are the Bad Kitty series.

This picture makes me giggle.

He's been trying to ride his bike without training wheels, unfortunately living on a gravel road doesn't give him a great place to learn so next spring we will have to spend some time at the park working on it.

Such a handsome guy, my sweet O!

Seriously?!?!? Too cute for words!

Come on Dad...i'll show you the way! It was so cute, he would hold his hand up opening and closing his fist because he wanted Daddy's hand! A serious awwww moment!

For about a week the bees ate off our feeder everyday.

Don't worry Owen....I got your ball!

Beautiful.....if I do say so myself!

This is a picture I found on my camera, Katelin was the photographer here. I guess O's football practice was boring to her.

Evan in the little playhouse.

Daddy was putting together the new bed we got Rylie. Owen was super excited to help Daddy and he did a great job. Evan wanted to help too but once he was done with that bottle I had to take him in the other room and get him out of the way. Rylie just sat on the bed "supervising".  Ev and Katelin did enjoy jumping on the new matress.

The kids like to use the treadmill as a stage, it's pretty entertaining.
Daddy and Katelin painting a picture of a deer, Katelin has this picture hanging in her room!

Fall Break

So every year in mid October the kids have fall break, they get a week off school during parent teacher conference week. We mostly hung out at home....and we ended up with a couple of sick kiddos....not real eventful but we had a good break.

We put Owen to work......
Then Daddy took Evan for a chase the truck adventure......
Then the kids (minus Rylie, she was with Abby) played in the leaves!
Evan had a cold and it became a fever with really sick looking eyes so I took him to the doctor and he had pneumonia. One night he would not go to sleep for me so I sat him on the floor crying and he fell asleep on his rug and I moved him to his crib, he woke up later and again wanted nothing to do with me so I woke up Daddy.....and guess what??? Evan cuddled right up with him and went to sleep, such a Daddy's boy!
They put him on antibiotics and breathing treatments and it took a few days but it was so good to have him back to his old self.
Katelin ended up sick also, she puked a few times... which is why she has a bowl with her....sleeping in mommy and daddy's bed always seems to help a little. Luckily she didn't get pneumonia and yes she has a sticker on her forehead....even sick she is still my funny little girl!
And here I am with about 206 degrees of hot kiddos on me.......

Luckily.....everyone got to feeling better and the kiddos, Abby and I went with my bff Mandy and her 2 kiddos Christopher and Emily to the zoo.............

We got there in time for the lorikeet feeding, it was pretty neat. Rylie ended up not doing it because one of them landed on her head when we first got in there and she wasn't too happy about that so..... she just snapped some pics for me......
I thing the giraffes are my favorite but I love seeing all of the animals, they are all so pretty.....
All the kiddos......

A silhouette of my kiddos, kinda cool..........

Sweet baby Emily!

Happy Halloween!

Oh my goodness......it has been almost a whole month since I have posted on my blog, this just goes to show how busy our lives have been lately. Between football, volleyball and dance and all the other things.... I have had absolutely no free time at all.  Chet and I still haven't gone out for our anniversary!

Anyway, i'm just going to do one big old post with all of our halloween stuff.....pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins and the big day....of course!

We went to the Louisburg Cider Mill this year..................

The kids checked out the pumpkins......
Evan sat on them, tried to pick them up and roll them over.....but none of them budged for him!
We had some apple cider donuts and root beer for the kids.....those were some GOOD donuts!
Then we headed down by the pumpkin patch, this was the first time we had gone here.....loved the donuts not super impressed with the pumpkin patch part!
Sunday night (halloween eve), we carved pumpkins, this year the kids each picked a halloween pattern from a kit to trace and carve onto a pumpkin....the only problem is the grown ups ended up doing all the work and I liked last years how each pumpkin was unique to each kid. So I think we should stick to the drawing our own faces. Katelin did not like digging out the goop but Rylie loved it.
And here are our pumpkins..........

The kids had school on halloween so the had their fall parties and in order to get around the "no halloween" in schools they have a word vocab parade and get to dress up as their word. I went back and forth between Rylie and Owens parties but not Katelin....she hung out with Rylie in her classroom the entire time!
Just a picture I love of Katelin.....she is soooo pretty!!!
My kiddos ready to trick or treat....A zombie bride, GI Joe, Cinderella and my little monkey....

We headed over to Abby's house and Angie and I took the kids trick or treating.....normally Chet would be with us but the Chiefs were playing Monday Night Football so he stayed home to watch the game. He said he would go but we survived one year without him with us. We beat the San Diego Chargers 23-20 in overtime! Go Chiefs!

And just a quick side note....today would have been my Papa's birthday....so Happy Birthday Papa, we love you and miss you!!!
