Fall Break

So every year in mid October the kids have fall break, they get a week off school during parent teacher conference week. We mostly hung out at home....and we ended up with a couple of sick kiddos....not real eventful but we had a good break.

We put Owen to work......
Then Daddy took Evan for a chase the truck adventure......
Then the kids (minus Rylie, she was with Abby) played in the leaves!
Evan had a cold and it became a fever with really sick looking eyes so I took him to the doctor and he had pneumonia. One night he would not go to sleep for me so I sat him on the floor crying and he fell asleep on his rug and I moved him to his crib, he woke up later and again wanted nothing to do with me so I woke up Daddy.....and guess what??? Evan cuddled right up with him and went to sleep, such a Daddy's boy!
They put him on antibiotics and breathing treatments and it took a few days but it was so good to have him back to his old self.
Katelin ended up sick also, she puked a few times... which is why she has a bowl with her....sleeping in mommy and daddy's bed always seems to help a little. Luckily she didn't get pneumonia and yes she has a sticker on her forehead....even sick she is still my funny little girl!
And here I am with about 206 degrees of hot kiddos on me.......

Luckily.....everyone got to feeling better and the kiddos, Abby and I went with my bff Mandy and her 2 kiddos Christopher and Emily to the zoo.............

We got there in time for the lorikeet feeding, it was pretty neat. Rylie ended up not doing it because one of them landed on her head when we first got in there and she wasn't too happy about that so..... she just snapped some pics for me......
I thing the giraffes are my favorite but I love seeing all of the animals, they are all so pretty.....
All the kiddos......
