Hi I hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of fall. I have posted a lot of pics this time, it is such a fun time of year to take pictures. After talking to several of you who get this through their email I found out it comes to your inboxes in a different format so if you want to see it with the pretty background and all just go directly to the webpage which is faragefamily.blogspot.com. I wanted to remind everyone that Chet is doing his racing experience at the speedway on Saturday at noon. It should be fun, hopefully not too cold. It is open to the public so if you want to watch him please come out.



Katelin still refuses the bottle so I introduced the sippy cup and she loves chewing on it and tasting her juice/water.


She is getting to big for her tub so we may have to move to the big tub soon, see all her cute chubs, she is also beginning to sit up although she topples over pretty quickly.

We were outnumbered when we went, our niece Haylie and nephew Dylan , Rylies new bff Abby and then our 3 kids. They wore out mommy, daddy, and Grammy.

Mr. Redneck and little miss redneck jr., Everyone who sees Katelin immediately comments on how she is the spittin image of her daddy. Which would be why I think she will look a lot like Jakee just lighter complected.

The kids are going to be a cowgirl and cowboy and then Katelin a little cow for halloween so it should be pretty darn cute, I will be sure to post pics in their costumes when I have them. So until next time, I hope all is well with everyone, have a fun and safe halloween.

I wanted to update everyone, Katelin had her 4 month check up and she weighed 15lbs 15oz. Since we had already started cereal, the doctor okayed her for 1st foods. She absolutely loves it. There has not been a single food she hasn't liked. Prunes were the only thing she seemed a little iffy on. She has also taken to sucking on two of her fingers, it's pretty darn cute. She discovered her feet and constantly has them in her hands.



We went and bought a highchair she likes being able to sit up a little more in it.


In case anyone ever wondered what Owen would look like with long brown hair, well here you go!


This is Rylie and her new best friend Abby. They are inseparable, she even had a sleepover with Abby and did great. My little girl is growing up!

Look its Chet and his mini me. Katelin looks so much like her Daddy, and neither of them have much hair. Daddy bites little pieces of ice off for her and she loves it. If she hears the glass of ice water, she just looks at him waiting for her piece.

Hi everybody,
Hope you all had a wonderful labor day weekend. I've been meaning to update this but with Rylie, Owen and I all in school, life has been hectic.


Owen started preschool 2 weeks ago. The first day went awesome, he didn't shed any tears ( I can't say the same for mom but I waited until I got to the car.LOL.) His second day, however, he cried and I had to peel him from the car. The second week he did great. He only goes twice a week and starting tomorrow we signed him up for this 30 minute soccer play thing at his school, so he will get to do that every Tuesday. Rylie is doing well at school and has a new best friend, Abby. She also lost her first tooth, we're expecting a visit from the toothfairy tonight.

We spent part of labor day weekend at the Niangua River with a bunch of friends. We camped out and it got very cold at night. On Saturday Chet, Rylie and Owen went on a 12 mile canoe trip. We were really worried the kids wouldn't do well but we should never underestimate them, they did awesome and had so much fun. They tipped over twice and handled it well and Rylie helped daddy work the oars and everything. We are very proud of them. I wasn't able to go because Katelin still won't take a bottle but next year we plan on going again.



Katelin loves to be outside so she enjoyed camping plus at night she got to sleep snuggled up with Mommy all night so she stayed good and warm. She was so good the whole weekend. We got many comments are how good all our kids were, it makes us very proud of them. Don't get me wrong they can be very awnry but they are good kids.



She really loves all her toys especially her caterpillar. She's been doing so good for Grammy and Daddy while i'm at school on Tuesday and Thursdays. Since she won't take a bottle we've been giving her cereal in the evening and it helps get her through until I get home on school nights. She seems to really like it. Next Monday is her 4 month check up, i'm anxious to see how much she weighs.

Well the lazy days of summer are officially over. Here is Rylie on Tuesday, which was her first day of first grade at her new school. Unfortunately she inherited the extreme shyness I had as a child so I was very anxious on Tuesday. I have definitely decided the hardest part of parenthood is having to let your child be independent and you can't shelter them from everything. I had to leave her at school with tears in her eyes and it was all I could do not to cry myself but we both got through the day and today was a little easier. She said she still played alone at recess but she actually did talk to the little girl who sits next to her. And if you know Rylie if shes not familiar with you it is not easy to get her to talk. I know before long she will have all kinds of friends and probably be loving school.


Owen starts preschool next week but we get to go to an open house at his school tomorrow. I asked him if he was excited to meet his teacher and he said yes but he wasn't going to talk to her (he is such a copy cat of everything he sees Rylie do or hears her say). He also said he was scared to go to school like his sissy. He warms up much quicker than Rylie so i'm not to worried about his first day but I won't promise i'm not going to leave with tears in my eyes (LOL), I guess we will see.

You would think I wouldn't have school stress with Katelin but she still refuses a bottle and I start school on Thursday. I'd say Chets going to be turning more gray but I don't think he has any brown hair left. I suppose if she gets hungary enough she will eat and I will only be gone about 4 hours. Other than that she is still just the happiest baby and growing more everyday.

Hi everyone,
I have some new pics I wanted to share. The summer is going by so fast, it's hard to believe. We got Rylie enrolled at her new school, she seems to be excited but I think her shyness will come out on the first day but lets hope not. We also got Owen enrolled in a preschool we really like and he picked out a batman backpack so he is very excited. Today hes been running a 103 degree temp but hopefully he will feel better tomorrow.


We took the kids to the pool, Katelin didn't cry in the water but didn't seem to care for it all that much but Rylie and Owen had a blast!

Chets been working hard clearing out some of our property, if you look hard enough you can see him up in the tree. By the way his racing experience its rescheduled for the third time for Oct. 25 so expect rain or snow on that day.LOL.

She likes being able to sit up and look around, so shes enjoyed spending some time in her toy.



The hats kind of silly but its cute too, we sure do love our little Katelin, she has been such a good and a happy baby. She is sleeping on average 7 hours a night and actually slept 9 1/2 hours one night, that was nice. She is just cooing and talking to us all the time and really trying hard to giggle.

We hope all is well with everyone and would like to ask for all your prayers and thoughts for Matthew while he is serving his time in Kuwait. While its suppose to be a fairly safe place where he is stationed, he is having to spend some time in Iraq while he is there and that is scary. He hasn't met his newest sister and won't until after her first birthday. And of course Rylie and Owen don't understand how far away he is and can't grasp the concept of how long until they will see him again. Cheston and Jakee are doing well also, Jakee just started a new job at the mall and Cheston is looking for one. Anyway hope your all enjoying the summer and we will post some more later.

Hi just wanted to let everyone know I do know how to spell but i'm going to pull out the sleep deprivation excuse as to why I spelled here instead of hear in the previous post. Just thought I should correct myself since most of you know i'm in college and should be able to spell.LOL

Hi everyone,
I hope everyone had a good 4th of July. We just went to a friends for a bar-b-que and went and saw a fireworks display. This is the first year we let Rylie and Owen shoot off some fireworks they had a blast. When we went to the display there was a train track right behind us and there was a train heading north and then one south and about 5 total going in opposite directions. Rylie tapped her dad on the shoulder and asked why that train kept going back and forth, it was so funny.




Katelin is getting so big, at her 2 month checkup she was 12lbs 7oz. She is cooing and smiling all the time. Her and Chet like to look at each other and he makes sounds and she'll copy his sounds, it's the cutest thing. We finally got her room done, it's very cute and very purple. She is also sleeping in her crib now, which daddy was very nervous about her leaving our room but we have a camera monitor so we can see and here her. When she wakes up for her early morning feeding, usually around 5:30 am we let her stay in our bed, so we get snuggle time.



Rylie and Owen are as awnry as ever. Rylies bottom to teeth are loose so she is very excited. However, she seems to think the tooth fairy will bring her $20, if anyone knows this tooth fairy please give me her number.LOL. We've looked at a couple of preschools for Owen and have one more to look at. He wants a backpack like his sissy to take to school, I think he's decided on a spiderman one.

And Chets racing experience was rained out once again and we will be rescheduling in October, we'll probably get a freak snow storm.LOL. Hopefully he will get to do it sometime soon. And I will be starting back to school in August so daddy will get a couple of hours twice a week to spend with the 3 kids, hopefully they're all still in one piece when I get home.
