Why do the kid LOVE to go see Grammy at work???

Oh Boy Oh Boy Oh Boy.......

This crazy boy of mine was trying to tell me how big something was, see the picture??? Can you guess what he is trying to tell me about???

Fish would be a good guess, he also saw a snake at school yesterday and that would make sense.....but no that is how big Owen claims his turd was. Why was it that big? Well, after picking him up from school today we had to go to the bank and to Wal-mart and he had to hold it the whole time, he claims he had to go so bad that it came out in one BIG piece. I realize you all could have lived your life without hearing this story but....it's my blog and I can tell whatever stories I want so there ya go. I so love having boys even with an occasional "turd" story ( I have no doubt this same conversation could have come from Katelins mouth so I don't think it is just a boy thing.)

I am proud to say that he is also a gentleman, see how sweet when helping his little sister get a drink.......

I've had a few stressul days but............

I have these 4 beautiful smiles to always let my know it will be Okay. Rylie, Owen, Katelin and Evan......you mean the world to me and I love you more than you will ever know. Thank you for being your beautiful selves everyday. I love you!!!

As long as I get to see these 4 smiling faces everyday then I know it hasn't been such a bad day!

After 2 bald babies in a row......

I was ecstatic to get another one with hair! Now it would be a lot of fun to have another little girl with hair but oh am I happy I had a boy, I will not let his gender stop me from playing with his beautiful head of hair so he is often sporting a mohawk and it is oh so cute!

I may have mentioned I have yet to find a food this boy does not like (he even gets excited when he sees his amoxicillan because he really likes it.) and we have a new food to add to that list.......

I'm pretty sure I couldn't get out there in a tutu and tennis shoes to shake my bootie or jumpin in a puddle without looking ridiculous but isn't that the beauty of being a kid, you can do crazy things and look absolutely adorable! And don't worry you did not miss a crazy rain, the puddles are a result of hours of powerwashing.....more on that later!

An Olympic Silver Medal!!!

That's what Rylies team got! Of course, i'm not talking about the actual "Olympics" but the math Olympics the 3rd graders had to help prepare for state assessments! So they had a little medal ceremony on Friday morning and showed a picture slide show and gave each kid a "medal". Here is my beautiful Ry......

And I want to give a shout out to all of the 3rd graders! My mom works with a lady whos son Jacob is serving in Afghanistan. His birthday is at the end of April and she was trying to gather a bunch of birthday cards to send to him. So I emailed Mrs. Kroh and asked of she would be interested in having her class make some cards for him. Well not only did her class make cards but all 3 of the 3rd grade classes did. So today my mom took them to her and she only had a small stack to send to him. My mom said she cried when she saw the 60 some cards the 3rd graders made for him. I had looked through all of them and they did a great job. They sent some really nice messages and did some great colorings for him. So Thank you 3rd graders, I am sure you will bring many smiles to Jacob on his birthday!

Welcome to the World...........

My best friend Mandy and her husband Chad along with big brother Christopher welcomed Baby Emily into the world yesterday, April 6 2011 @ 7:28 am. She weighed in at 7lbs .8oz and was 19 inches long. She is absolutely beautiful, it was a good and quick delivery and mom and baby are doing great! She is a lucky little girl joining an incredible family. I'm so happy for them and so excited to watch little Emily grow up. Congrats to you all! Of course I have been to visit twice, my girls tagged along the second time and they love her.
