And this would be how my younger son treats his mama....he hit me with a hard foam bat on my nose and while it may not look that bad there was a big lump under that cut. I didn't feel right for the next 2 days and am actually wondering if he gave me a very mild concussion....and yes he did it because he was mad at me!

One of the few planes we saw when we took Grammy to the airport....I had hoped to let the kids watch planes land and take off but you can't look out the windows at the runway at the airport anymore so it didn't happen!

Baseball!

There are no words to say how incredibly proud I am of this kid.....my shy quiet boy has gone out there and played football, basketball, soccer and baseball and he seems to really enjoy it!

I must admit out of all the sports....baseball is my favorite to watch....I love watching him play!

He is doing so awesome...he almost always got a hit when he is up to bat!

He got on a great team with excellent coaches and two boys from his school were on his team.

Again, I am so proud of how well he has done.

He worked real hard at baseball camp.

Evan really enjoyed watching his big brother hard at work!

There he is.....#5!

And while the little ones could get onery, they were pretty good at games....Katelin made a little friend and evan just kind of did whatever, we would keep him in the stroller as long as possible but at times we had to let him out!

So way to go Owen.....we are so proud of you! Now time to gear up for football and then basketball!

Meet Kinley!

So we went on Friday for our 3D sonogram....I hadn't planned on doing one of these until Chet did tree work for a couple who owned their own business Kansas 4D ultrasound....so why not give it a try! I will say I was very happy with where we went, the couple who own it are very nice and they have a nice set up for their business. It was really neat to see Kinley on the screen moving and kicking. She was chewing on her umbilical cord and was folded like a sandwich, she was head down with her feet at her face most the time.

I was a little disappointed that we weren't able to get better/ clearer pics but that is not really in anyone's control....baby has to really cooperate. So I wouldn't say this is something that I think everyone should go do but if it is something you want to do it is neat and I recommend where we went....Kansas 4D ultrasound!


So I think she looks like she has some chubby little cheeks in the top pic and her mouth is open in the bottom. Then the first big pic is her feet and then her hand! I sure do love this little girl sooo much already and can't wait to hold her and kiss her and love on her!

And this is her heartbeat bear....it is very special because if you give it a squeeze then you will here baby Kinley's heartbeat, not a generic one but the heartbeat of my sweet baby girl!

So since finding out we are adding another little girl to our home....I have done a bit of shopping.....

Baby magic....the best smell in the world, doesn't compare to any other baby bath products, i've decided to go with gumdrop binkys (i've have yet to have a baby that uses a binky beyond 4 months but just in case) and Tommee Tippee bottles, they're supposed to be one of the best ones for breastfed babies!!!!

I love her car seat and I got it at about 1/2 price so....SCORE! And her cute little bouncy seat!

Then some swaddlers and I have bought several blankets and their so soft and cute, her owl cart cover and I love the cute little socks!

Just a few of her cute outfits....she is getting quite the wardrobe!

And me at 26 weeks.....so this is how big I was when we got to see our sweet girl in 3D.....

Maybe because he is such a little monkey!!!!

 

A loooong couple of days at the park!

So I signed Owen up for baseball camp, which was 3 days long. The first day Rylie was at volleyball camp so it was me and the littles at the park for 3 hours....they played, we watched Owen some but we were definitely ready to go after 3 hours.

The second day I had Rylie with us and we played, watched Owen some, played some more....again a loooong 3 hours. 2 days at the park for 3 hours is too much for these kiddos! He had to miss day 3 because I had to have the girls in Lawerence for their dance rehersal! Despite the long days we had some fun and got some cute pics!!!!

Luckily the camp took place before the heatwave hit.....I don't think I would have sent him in this heat!
