Thanksgiving!

We had a nice Thanksgiving, thanks to our wonderful host......
Natalie and her cute turkey apron!

Can you guess who's first thanksgiving this was????

Well of course you can, the first of many for 2 very special little boys who have come into our family this year in very differant but both very special ways and we are so thankful for both of them!

Xander and Evan
And we can't forget the other little ones who we are so thankful for......
My crazy and wonderful little Katelin, and notice her shirt....yes KK, everyone really is thankful for you!

Our rowdy rambuctious boys, who are proud to now be known as the big boys...Owen and Dylan!

Hay Hay the monkey...so loveable and grown up!

And of course our little Miss Rylie Jo, the little mama of the clan, we wouldn't be complete without her!

And anyone who knows Natalie....well you know she tends to run a little behind at times and Thanksgiving dinner was no exception...the turkey took a few hours longer than expected (Love you Natalie, you know I have to give you a hard time)!
So what did the kids do to pass the time, well they decorated the tablecloth, of course!

With a little help from Daddy/Uncle Chet...

We had some beautiful artwork to eat on!
I just wanted to end this post with a few of the things i'm most grateful for:

There are no words for what my husband and kids mean to me, they are my everything and I love them beyond anything I could have ever imagined!

I'm grateful my kids are happy and healthy, I so wish all kids could be happy and healthy because no child deserves not to be.

I'm grateful for Matthew, Cheston and Jakee and I wish we got to see them more and I hope we change that real soon.

I'm grateful to be lucky enough to have found and married my best friend and to be one of the lucky people to be in a truly happy marraige.

I'm grateful to have my mom in my life everyday, she does so much for my family and is so important to my children, she really is irreplaceable.

I'm grateful that we have a roof over our heads and food on our table everyday, again I wish these were two things noone ever had to go without.

I'm grateful our lives are so filled with LOVE, this is something noone should have to live without!!!

I could go on and on because there really is so much I am grateful for, such as our troops who fight for us everyday, all my wonderful friends and extended family and so much more....we really are truly blessed!

What in the world does a 2 year old do when..........

she see's a griddle sitting on the kitchen table????
Well she makes some eggs, of course!!! And let me tell you, they were the best plastic eggs I have ever ate!
And one more picture just because it puts a smile on my face and I can't image it wouldn't put one on yours!

You may remember............

seeing this picture not so long ago!
This isn't exactly one of those milestones I hope to get a picture of for each of my children but it looks like I am half way there because.............
Katelin got her own BIG goose egg in about the exact same spot as Owen. Let's hope Rylie and Evan never get matching ones!
And since i'm sharing pictures of bumps, how about a picture of my sweet boy in his bumbo......
He sure likes it:)

Fall Fun

So last week during some of the beautiful fall weather, Daddy went and got a big leaf pile for the kids to jump and play in and they had a blast. So here are some pictures from that. This week hasn't been as much fun.....we all have colds, Evan has pink eye, Owen was throwing up over the weekend and Rylie has a bacterial infection on her face but at least we are getting it over with before Thanksgiving!

Also to those of you who recieve this in your email.....not that it matters and probably noone cares but me because you get the same content either way but if you go to the actual blog website (faragefamily.blogspot.com) you get to see the pretty backgrounds that I change each season vs. seeing the content on boring white background. Again i'm sure i'm the only one who cares about the background but hey just thought i'd let you all know, lol!!!

Aren't they cute!

My sweet little Ry Ry.

She LOOKS so sweet!
Won't be long and Evan will be running with the big kids!

My O.

Such a poser.

This was when Daddy was pointing the leaf blower at Rylie.

And this was after!

Me and my brood.

Evan Wade 3 months

I can't believe my baby boy is 3 months old today!!! I'm sure most moms can relate to this but even though it's hard to believe he's already been here for 3 months, it feels like he's always been a part of this family. I truly believe Evan was meant to be with us, the day I found out I was pregnant I told Chet that it would be a brown haired baby boy. And that is exactly what we got, a perfect little brown haired baby boy!

Hanging out earlier today.
I took the next pictures during some of the nice weather we had last week while we were outside enjoying it.
He chews on his bottom lip a lot lately along with trying to devour his whole hand.

How could anyone resist this sweet, sweet face.

He is so smiley and giggly anymore, such a happy little guy!
Evan's not sleeping through the night yet but that's okay, he'll get there when he's ready. Some nights he wakes up every 3 hours but more and more he's going 6 to 7 hours. He often ends up snuggled up with me in the early morning hours but again that's okay with me, I love my little snuggle bug.

He also said "mama" for the first time tonight and yes I realize he was not intentionally saying it but it still made me smile. Chet was teasing me about it and not long after that he was holding Evan on the couch going "say dada, say dada". It made me laugh!

He also loves his baths and is very ticklish, he starts to giggle whenever I change his clothes and often when I am changing his diaper, it's so cute.

According to my scale he weighs close to 16 lbs, he's pretty much outgrown 0-3 month cloths and is wearing size 2 diapers. He's on zantac for acid reflux and it seems to be helping with his spitting up but he is obviously getting plenty of calories.

And of course I took his 3 month picture with "the bear" so here are pics from the last 3 months.

Rylie Jo

Rylie was student of the week last week, so I thought this would be a good time to share with the world (or at least with the handful of people who read my blog) how proud I am of my girl. She has blossomed so much in the last couple of years. She is doing awesome in school and played soccer and volleyball this year. I really am so proud of all she has done. Like I said before, Rylie and I can butt heads quite a bit but I think we are learning how to control how we handle our differences. She is such an incredible big sister, always taking care of the younger kids and most the time they all play so well together.

Student of the week brings home Mr. Baseball and they have to write about their adventures with him so here are a few of the pics we took with Mr. Baseball. She also got to take some pictures of herself to school, bring 3 special things to share with the class (she took her soccer medal, rock collection, and dsi), she took her favorite book (the flea's sneeze), which is probably my favorite book too I have read it to all the kids repeatedly, I think I have it memorized. Then Mrs. Kroh read a letter to the class from Chet and I and on Thursday the kids and I went and had lunch with her.

Mr. Baseball even played with Evan.

Rylies soccer medal

Abby and Rylie at volleyball.
I couldn't resist sharing a few pictures from her younger days, she sure was a cutie. Actually she still is. I love my girl to pieces!!!!

One Proud Mama!!!

The title says it all............i'm so proud of my older two kiddos right now! Rylie and Owen went into Owen's room to make pictures, I had no clue what they were making and I gave them no suggestions. I'm sure you can understand my pride when they came out with these:

Owen's pic

Rylie's pic
And this is what they both had written on the inside (since owens just learning to write, Rylie wrote his):

We are thankful for the army and soldiers and marines fighting for our country.

We are thankful for all of our vets past, present and future. And not just today, veterans day, but everyday and it makes me beyond proud to see my kids are also thankful and not because they are told to be but just because they are.
