It's not really official until it hits the blog right?! Well okay that isn't true because it is official and he is here and he will be 2 weeks old tomorrow and I have been a bit preoccupied and haven't had time to get to the blog. So here it is.......Luke's official introduction!!!!
Luke Dylan Farage was born May 16 2014 weighing 8lbs 7oz (actually 8lbs 6.8oz), 19 inches long and perfect in every way!
Chet named him Luke, we had been at odds with the name, I wanted Logan. It really was like a hallmark moment, Daddy carried him over, I was crying and said "you pick his name" and he says "it's Luke Dylan", I said okay!! He does look more like a Luke than a Logan :) We really liked the way Dylan sounded with Luke and it's an added bonus that we have an awesome nephew named Dylan that is pretty proud to share his name!!!
My good friend Debbie came to visit when Luke was a day old and took these first 3 pics of him, she did a great job! I don't like many pics of myself but I love the one she took of me and my beautiful baby boy!
I am happy to have 6 kids at home and really don't want any more but this is still very bittersweet. I like being pregnant (at least most of it), I like giving birth (sounds crazy, I know) and I love the itty bitty baby stage, love getting to know this new little person and watching their personalities grow! I'm going to cherish every minute and I am going to miss it!
But more than anything I LOVE this sweet baby boy....he is absolute perfection, there isn't a thing that I would change about him! He is our final little masterpiece and the perfect completion to our family! No doubt, like the rest of the kids, he will always and forever be loved and treasured!
