Happy 7th Birthday Katelin!

We always know how long we have lived in our house since we moved there 1 week before our little KK was born. It's hard to believe it has been 7 years now! Katelin is our persistent, sassy, beautiful, creative, active, full of life girl. You tell her no and she will argue and push to no end and while it may not work out for her so well now, I believe it is a trait that will one day benefit her. She loves playing soccer, eating rice, sneaking candy, anything crafty, the color blue, bedtime snuggles and her best friends are Sage and Julia (her teacher says at school that she is every ones friend). She is also a great student, reading and math come very easy and she can ace spelling test without even studying.....she gives us a lot to be proud of!

The day of her birthday I spent the majority of my day putting together her gift and Kinley and Luke were my little helpers and Evan just hung out with no desire to help!
We tend to have plenty of toys so we try to be creative with a gift and since Katelin loves to color, craft and play school we thought a desk would be perfect. Grammy got her some supplies to go with it and some new pajamas and Grandma and Grandpa sent some fun crafts and a painting smock!

We went to Texas Roadhouse for her birthday dinner!

Since it was her birthday she got to sit in the saddle and while I think it embarrassed her a little.....

it didn't stop her from having fun, she even asked if we could come back next year for her birthday!

And of course we concluded the night with ice cream cake!

My dear sweet Katelin.....this girl causes her share of headaches, she is stubborn and fights us when she hears the word no but she is so full of life and love. Our family wouldn't be complete without her. Forever and Always KK....we love you more than words!

But the celebration didn't end there. We had a party with her friends....a paint themed party!
Awesome invites by Designs by Debbie....check her out on fb!
3 of her friends Sage, Julia and Ella came over for a sleepover and they painted on canvas!

We had cupcakes!

Popcorn and a movie ( though they did sit still enough to watch the movie)

Then the next day we went to Ceramic Cafe to paint ceramics!

They all seemed to have a lot of fun, another year and another fun memory! Now the planning has begun for my sweet baby about to be 1!
